Hello. This is relatively early, but I am doing this so there can be a jump start and time to plan. I am aware that all Wikia's Marketing Material is usually planned a year in advanced, though I had an idea that I thought would be worthy that an opening could be created. I think an interesting thing that would get lots of engagement, and be beneficial to my wiki, while fitting in Wikia's Marketing a Christmas event. I do not know exactly how to approach it but I am referring to in the sense of there are several common misconceptions about the Christmas story that the Bible actually doesn't say, or we don't know (common example that three kings came to see Jesus, we do not honestly know how many came and the Bible doesn't even say they were kings!). Let me know what we can do. I am hoping sometime we can get in chat about this and perhaps discuss this a bit further. Let me know.

I will put together a poll about if people want to see a Christmas event as well (maybe we cab push it via wikia social media channels or share or retweet my wikia post for it) to see how many would be interested of you feel it is necessary before we actually start working on stuff.
Please let me know and hopefully we can chat soon about this. If you feel it is necessary we determine if there is an interested audience before doing this please let me know. I will also put in much of the handiwork myself.
Hi there! As you've already pointed out, we definitely do have specific holiday and end-of-year/New Year programming lined up in our marketing calendar which has been planned out months in advance. If you'd like to plan something that lives within your own community, please feel free! Unfortunately, we can't always provide promotion of these programs, but let us know once it's live. We'll see what we can do to point people your way!
Is there are private medium of communication I cab contact you by to send you a draft once its completed that way if it will be promoted in advance (that way it can be planned u cab also draft done easter stuff). Let me know
Hey, since staff is very busy and not everybody watches the recent activity I'd like it to notice I wrote a thread on the wiki :)
I also left a message on the wall of User:CzechOut. He left a message on another soccer wiki with some ideas about the upcoming World Cup, so I guess he's the staff member into sports, but he hasn't responded up to now: w:c:the-football-database:Thread:11015.
Hello. As you being the Director of Programming I thought this inquiry would partain to you. I notice in the Lifestyle hub Wikia oftens takes their focus to things such as beauty, cooking, excercise, toys, and literature. Something I think (and I being an admin on a wiki of that nature Biblicalapedia) is that perhaps Wikia should also bring into the picture is wikis talking about philosophy and history. Some of Wikia Lifestyle's most popular wikis are about history, and there are wikis also based on philosophy. See I feel like Wikia is focusing all their attention, on what is the most popular, or the things of pop culture. There are even hub wikis for everything else, but not history or philosophy. I would like to meet (on skype instant messaging or wikia chat) chat with you, or the Lifestyle team on how these changes can be met. Thanks
Thanks for dropping me a note. We do normally focus on those areas, since those are areas on Lifestyle that we're actively trying to grow users. But for sure, we would love to help you guys get more exposure for your efforts, but there's no plan to do a separate hub for Philosophy or History. We do focus a lot on pop culture, but we can spread the love around. Want to let me know via my wall when you launch new things you'd like to get help promoting?
You could absolutely create a Philosophy or History Wikia but marking it as a hub doesn't make it an official Wikia corporate hub. Let me know if that makes sense. We could absolutely link to you as a Core community if you like. What is the other wiki you're currently working on?
I Would presume because it wouldn't be staff ran, it would be more community ran. I see that it would be time consuming and would require Wikia hire somebody to do it. If I may ask would I be allowed permission to incorporate the wikia logo into it and make something similar to an official hubs logo. Of course I would need some tips and suggestions if you had any to run it like a hub. My wiki is Biblicalapedia and could fit into two categories, one more than the other. Its more about history than the actual theology (but this is allowed to be discussed) so I would consider it more of a history wiki. We are also on the Books hub (with my good friend Asnow). If I could also ask your advice I do not know if this wiki would fit into any alliances?
